Without sleep not only would you feel very tired, but you will be more prone to catch viruses and diseases. I’m sure we’ve all had times where we stayed up pass midnight or didn’t sleep at all, because the lack of sleep, you can find it hard to concentrate, keep your emotions together, and work. During a certain time frame at night, your organs are the weakest and your body is working to regenerate you.

I suggest researching on this as it can be incredibly interesting and help you understand the importance of sleep (you cannot survive without sleep, just like how you would die without food). But who knows, in the future there may be technologies that can help us not sleep all together but remain healthy!

It is extremely important to get enough sleep each night because sleep plays an important role in your physical health. For example, sleep is involved in healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. Ongoing lack of sleep, is linked to an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke. Doctors and professionals recommend that people get at least 7-8 hours of sleep for the brain and body to function well the next day.
