You should avoid seeking the help of public relations specialists when developing a high-stakes presentation because they will make it too slick or glib.

This statement is false.
If there are high-stakes to your presentation, then obviously you want someone to help you, especially if that someone is a specialist. They know their job well, and if you are unsure about anything, you can ask them, and they will have a ready answer in order to aid you.
