The statement above is TRUE. Bile is produced by the liver and stored in the gall bladder. The bile contains bile acids which help in the digestion of fat and fat soluble vitamins in the small intestines. Bile acids have detergent action on dietary fats which cause the fats to break down to minute droplets, thus increasing the surface area of the fat particles; this make them easily accessible to the lipases enzymes.
