The measure of how productively an organization uses its resources to achieve a goal is known as efficiency. It is the ratio of the useful output to that of the total input. In terms of organization, it is the measure of capability to execute a plan by using least possible costs of resources. A high efficiency value would mean that the organization are able to deliver a high amount of output while using small amounts of input in the execution of the tasks. This concept is not only limited into an organization as it is also being used in processes and machine. And in the same way it is describe as the amount of work that is used divided by the total input of work.
