Solve The quantity 2 x minus 10 divided by 4 = 3x

I assume you mean:

(2x-10)/4=3x multiply both sides by 4

2x-10=12x subtract 12x from both sides

-10x-10=0 add 10 to both sides

-10x=10 divide both sides by -10

x=-1
