Since each week Kira saves $30, then after W weeks, she would have saved 30W. Since she starts with $550, then the total amount of money that she has after W weeks is:

S=30W+550

Substitute W=12 to find the amount of money that she has after 12 weeks:

\begin{gathered} S_(12)=30(12)+550 \\ =360+550 \\ =910 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the equation that represents the total amount of money after W weeks is:

S=30W+550

The total amount of money (in dollars) after 12 weeks is:

910
