The function g(x) = 3(x - 3)2 + 2 will translate 3 units to the right. True or False?

The answer is true, since horizontal shifts are shown in a function by either adding or subtracting a value from the variable. The horizontal shift is (x-3), not (x+3) since in order for (x+3) = 0, x has to equal -3. The x-intercept, if not for the vertical shift of 2, would be 3, not -3, meaning (x-3) is the correct way to represent translating 3 units to the right.
