Two trains leave stations 306 miles apart at the same time and travel toward each other. one train travels at 75 miles per hour while the other travels at 95 miles per hour. how long will it take for the two trains to meet?

combined speed = 95+75= 170 mph

they will meet in 306/170 = 1.8 hours or 1 hour 48 minutes.
