So first, you need to notice the blue line is y = 2x, and the other one is y = -2x - 1

For the purple area, let's choose a point (1,0), which is in the area.

For y = 2x -> 2 >0, so the inequality will be y ≤2x

For y = -2x - 1 -> -3 < 0, so the inequality will be y ≥ -2x - 1
