Now we need to find the value of f(1) and the recursive formula then,


f(1)=-48*(-(1)/(4))^1=-48*-(1)/(4)=12

And the recursive formula is given as


f(n)=f(n-1)+a_1

On putting the values we have


f(n)=-48*(-(1)/(4))^(n-1)+12
