*PLEASE ANSWER*

The function y=2x+4 has a domain of 2,3,5,7, and 8...
That number is not in the range of the function? 

A. 8

B. 12

C. 18

D. 20

The answer is B because when you plug 2 in for x, you get y = 8. When you plug in 3, you get y = 10. When x = 5, y = 14. when x = 7, y = 18, and when x = 8, y = 20.
