Here are some of the supernatural beings and forces in anthropology:
Ancestral spirits – these are souls or ghosts of ancestors. This is consistent with the belief that human is composed of two – the body and soul. When person died, the soul will continue to exist.
God or goddesses – these are powerful supernatural beings with recognizable powers and attributes. These are believed to be powerful than the spirits.
Magic – this is a supernatural force which could be done by the help of the supernatural beings. The purpose of this is either for good or evil.
Minor supernatural beings – examples of these are elves, pixies, and leprechauns. They usually have human form but can do things beyond human capabilities.
