Two cards are drawn at random from a standard deck of cards without replacement. What is the probability that both cards will be from the clubs suit?

Answer:

The answer is 1/17.

Explanation:

You will draw one club which will be 13/52. You will NOT replace it so you will draw a second card 12/51.

You will need to multiply them to find the probability.

First simplify your two fractions.

13/52 = 1/4 AND 12/51= 4/17

Multiply the two together and you will get 4/68 = 1/17
