Isosceles Triangle Theorem: the angles of the base of an isosceles triangle are congruent, therefore:

\begin{gathered} m\angle Z=m\angle Y \\ m\angle Z=45 \end{gathered}

All the interior angles of a triangle add up to 180°. Based on that, we can determine m∠Z.

\begin{gathered} m\angle X=180-m\angle Z-m\angle Y \\ m\angle X=180-45-45=180-90 \\ m\angle X=90 \end{gathered}

Answer:

• m∠X = 90

,

• m∠Z=45
