Answer : The mass of the cart is, 146 Kg.

Solution : Given,

Force = 250 N

Angle =
35^o

Acceleration =
1.4m/s^2

Formula used :


F* \cos \theta=m* a

where,

F = force


\theta = angle

a = acceleration

m = mass of the cart

Now put all the values in the above formula, we get the mass of the cart.


250N* \cos (35^o)=m* (1.4m/s^2)


m=146Kg

Therefore, the mass of the cart is, 146 Kg.
