The answer to the question above is PANGAEA. Pangaea or Pangea is known to be a "supercontinent" that existed during the periods of late Paleozoic era and earlier in the Mesozoic era. This supercontinent was really large and this is the original landmass of the present continents today. This broke up due to plate tectonics.
