2x + 5y = 10
Change to y = mx + b
subtract 2x from both sides
5y = -2x + 10
divide both sides by 5
y = -2/5x + 2
slope = -2/5

we have

2x + 5y = 10

we know that

the formula to calculate the slope is equal to

m=((y2-y1))/((x2-x1))

Let

A( 5,0)\\B( 0,2)

Step
1

Find the slope AB

mAB=((2-0))/((0-5)) \\ \\ mAB=-(2)/(5)

therefore

the answer is the option B

-(2)/(5)
