Solve both equations 1/2x + 5y = 6 becomes y = -1/10x + 5/6 and 3x +30y = 36 becomes y = -1/10x + 36/30.  Since both equations have the same slope..1/10 the lines are going to be parallel since the constant is different 5/6 vice 36/30.  They will never cross.
