By opening the application Microsoft word 2016.First,click the file tab/Manage Document. Secondly, click the manage document button. Third, from the drop down list, click recovers unsaved documents. Fourth, the open dialog box opens displaying a list of your unsaved recoverable word documents. Select the file you wish to recover and click the open button. Fifth, the recovered file is now open and displays an information banner across the top recommending that you save the file. Lastly, click the save as button and save your file.
