Which ordered pair is a solution to the system of equations? x+y=3 2x+2y=6

B.) (1.5, 1.5)
C.) no solution
D.) infinite number of solutions

x+y=3

x=3-y

2x+2y=6 using x from above...

2(3-y)+2y=6

6-2y+2y=6

6=6

This is always true, so there are an infinite number of solutions as they describe the same line.

*note however that (0,3) and (1.5, 1.5) are part of that infinite set of solutions
