(0,2)(1,3)
slope = (3 - 2) / (1 - 0) = 1 <== ur slope (or rate of change)

y = mx + b
slope(m) = 1
(0,2)...x = 0 and y = 2
sub and find b, ur y int...ur initial value
2 = 1(0) + b
2 = b <== ur y int...ur initial value <==

Answer: Initial value: 2, rate of change: 1

Explanation:

From the graph we can see the line is intersecting y axis at (0,2).

Therefore, y intercept of the graph = 2

Therefore, the initial value of the graph = 2

Also there as two point from which line is passing (0,2) and (1,3)

The rate of change of the line is given by :-

R=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(3-2)/(1-0)=1

Hence, for the given graph, the Initial value is 2 and the rate of change is 1 .
