Mean arterial pressure is the mean arterial pressure in one cardiac cycle. In several case mean arterial pressure is a better indicator for therapy.

Mean arterial pressure calculated by : (2x systolic pressure + 1xdiastolic pressure) /3
In this case it would be (2x120 + 1x70)/3 = 310/3 = 103mmHg
