The period 1930 - 1950 ( after classical behaviorism ) was the era of Neobehaviorism. It was wedded to classical learning theory. Neobehaviorists were concerned with what form an adequate theory of learning should take. They borrowed many ideas from the school of logical positivism. Leading figures were: Edwin Guthrie, Edwin Tolman, B. F. Skinner and Kenneth Spence.
