What is the range of the function g(x) = |x – 12| – 2?

The correct answer would be B in this case, he was just not able to put down a greater than or equal to sign. B.-y l y≥ -2

Your function is |x-h|+k where (h,k) is the vertex and the range will be greater than or equal to the y value of the vertex or k. So the range is greater than or equal to -2. This means the none of the answer choices are correct since none of them give the option of greater than or equal to. Seems to be an error though as both the top two answers and the bottom two are exactly the same.
