If a point is reflected over the y axis, it is the x coordinate that is changing. It is going to be the same distance from the y axis as before, just now the opposite. So now the coordinates of x are going to be (-4,-5).

Answer:

\tilde{x}=(-4,-5)

Explanation:

When we reflect a point
P=(p_x,p_y) over the y-axis, it's reflected to the point
\tilde{P} with the same y-coordinate as P and whose x-coordinate is minus the x-coordinate of P, hence

\tilde{P}=(-p_x,p_y).

Therefore, in our particular case the point x=(4,-5) is reflected to the point

\tilde{x}=(-4,-5).
