so far as i know i think chandragupta - He led the foundation for the Mauryan Dynasty. He was well known by Greeks who called him as “Androcottus”. but i may be wrong hmm

under Ashoka's leadership , the mauryan able to spread their territories into the middle eastern regions. He influenced the advancement of Mauryan's economy and military power and he also took a big role in spreading Buddhisms to become one of the major religion in Asian continent.
