-x + 5y= -18 so x = 5y + 18
5x-9y=10
substitute x = 5y + 18 into 5x - 9y = 10
5x - 9y = 10
5(5y + 18) - 9y = 10
25y + 90 - 9y = 10
16y = - 80
y = -5
x = 5y + 18
x = 5(-5) + 18
x = -25 + 18
x = -7
answer
(-7, -5)
