Physical elements like appearance, personality, values, role in story, achievement, how he/she sees himself/herself, how others view him/her.

Hope this helps!!!

When it comes to sketching a convincing and well-thought-out character an author must focus on the following elements:

  • Personality, physiology, and psychology: How does this character look like? Does he or she have a specific feature? What is the personality of the character? What are her/his likes or dislikes? What are his/her traits and flaws? Is this character complex and nuanced enough?
  • Motivation: What is his/her main motivation? What drives this character to act? What is his/her goal? What stops him/her from achieving that desired goal?
  • The character's past: Background story that may influence or not the character's present actions.
  • Character development: How do they change? Do they change at all? How this character's arc is going to be?
