A sunflower grows an average of 5mm per week. Write an equation for the sequence that represents the weekly height of this sunflower if the measurements begin when the sunflower is 1 meter tall

If it grows at 5mm per week the slope is 0.005m per week, and since it starts at 1 meter in height that is the y-intercept. So the height in meters as a function of weeks is:

h(w)=0.005w+1

or if you wanted the height in mm then:

h(w)=5w+1000
