Explanation:

So, because y= both -2x-4 and 4x+2, then those two equations must both be equal. -2x-4=4x+2, first add 2x to each side, -4=6x+2, subtract 2, -6=6x, divide by 6, x=-1. Then, you plug the x back into one of the y equation, it doesn't matter which one, I did 4(-1)+2, which equals -2. So, the ordered pair is (-1,-2)
