SOLUTION:

(c)

The area of the drive way;

\begin{gathered} A\text{ = }\sqrt[]{70}m\text{ X }\sqrt[]{30}m \\ A=45.8258m^2 \end{gathered}

Dimension of Ford Raptor;

Length = 5.603 m

Width = 2.190 m

Area of Ford Raptor;

\begin{gathered} A\text{ = 5.603 m X 2.}190\text{ m} \\ A=12.2706m^2 \end{gathered}

The number of the dream car the drive way can fit;

\frac{Area\text{ of the drive way}}{Area\text{ of a Ford Raptor}}=\text{ }(45.8258)/(12.2706)=3.7346

The driveway can accommodate only 3 Ford Raptor.

(d)

The volume of Asphalt needed to repave the drive way;

Volume = Length X width X thickness

\begin{gathered} L\text{ = }\sqrt[]{70}\text{ m = 8.3667m} \\ \text{W = }\sqrt[]{30}\text{ m = 5.4772}m \\ T\text{ = 10 cm = 0.1m} \\ V\text{ = 8.3667m x 5.4772}m\text{ x 0.1m} \\ V\text{ }=4.5826m^3 \end{gathered}

The volume of Asphalt needed to repave the drive way is 4.5826 cubic meters.
