Give an example of how the United States has handled an international conflict. Did it involve any international organizations?

One example could be the League of Nations. This formed after The First World War. WW1 involved other nations making it an international conflict. the league of nations involved the leaders of countries to come together and provide a plan to avoid another world dispute

After WW2, the US formed NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation). It was formed to be a collective security against the USSR and was the first peacetime military alliance the US entered outside the Western Hemisphere. NATO has helped support many operations by countries participating in the treaty, and wars such as Iraq war, Afghanistan war, etc and has helped countries that have been ravaged by natural disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina Pakistan earthquake, and many more.
