6y+4 = 8+2y+2y
<=> 6y+4 = 8+ y(2+2)
<=> 6y+4 = 8+4y (we add (-4y) on both sides)
<=> 6y+4 - 4y = 8
<=> y(6-4) + 4 = 8
<=> 2y + 4 = 8 (we add (-4) on both sides)
<=> 2y = 8-4
<=> 2y = 4
