(-2)³ = -8
-4⁴ = 256
= 125/216
= 1/4³ = 1/64 (every number with negative exponent is equivalent to the opposite of the number itself)
2-(-3)² = 2-(+9) = 2-9 = -7
-(-7)⁰ = -1 (every number elevated to 0 is 1)
1-3⁻¹ = 1-1/3 = 2/3
