15 cents for two mints gives 7.5 cents for one mint
7.5 cents is an increase of 2.5 cents from the previous price 5 cents for one mint and it is a 50% increase

Increase in price per mint is 2.5 cents .

Explanation:

The price of mints is raised from 5 cents each to 15 cents for two.15 cents is the rice in price for two mints .Hence rise in price for each mint is 15÷2=7.2 cents.

Rise in price for each mint = 7.2-5=2.5cents.

Percent increase =
(2.5)/(5) (100)=50

There is 50% increase in price per mint.
