Mouse number can increase significantly with in few months in the absence of their predators and these mouse can cause huge damage to vegetation or they can spread deadly infectious disease like plaque so their population must be controlled.

Introduction of mouse predator can help with the mouse problem in australia because mouse is food of the predator and predator will kill and feed on mouse. After introduction of mouse predator the population of mouse will come under control because of becoming prey of predator.

Predators like snakes and cats are very efficient mouse predator which can be useful in controlling mouse problem in australia.
