My answer is that Mathematics is a language as well. It has it's own grammar and it's own curious set of rules. It in some form is logical but there is room for it to be not susceptible to any kind of logic.
It is beautiful in the same way that poetry or art is beautiful. Those who love it, find that mathematics is a demanding discipline. I used to tell my physics classes that God spoke Mathematics and Physics and Chemistry long before Hebrew. Sometimes they even laughed politely.
