The equation of a circle is:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

Since this circles is centered at (0,0) and has a radius of 5 then:

x^2+y^2=25

equation of the circle centered on the origin is x²+y²=r², so:

x²+y²=5²
x² + y² = 25 ← answer
