Who produced the steam engine? Who patented it? Who introduced the new model?

The man who produced or developed the very first commercially successful steam powered device was Thomas Savery. The steam engine is basically a "heat" engine in other words the steam is used as it's "fuel" to create mechanical energy and propel the device. Thomas Savery also patented this steam powered device. I'm pretty sure that he too introduced the new model as well and I believe this new model or device was the steam powered pump, that would pump water out of mines.
