The correct answer is value. Many people started believing that things are worth much more than they are worth because they cost much more money, but in reality they often cost what they cost in old times, but the prices are adjusted for inflation. Comics used to cost a quarter a chapter and now they're 4 dollars per chapter, except it's almost the same when adjusted for inflation.
