What are the solutions to the quadratic equation 4x2 + 28x = 0?

x = 4 and x = −7
x = 4 and x = 7
x = 0 and x = −7
x = 0 and x = 7

4x^2+28x=0 factor out greatest common factor, 4x in this case

4x(x+7)=0

4x=0, x=0

x+7=0, x=-7

So x=0 and x=-7
