Geometry question.

Angle <ABC and <ABD are complementary. Angle <ABC measures 20 degrees more than <ABD. What are the measurements?

so

complementary angles add to 90 degerss

let's say
ABC=x
ABD=y for easier

x+y=90

also
x is 20 more than y
x=20+y
sub 20+y for x

20+y+y=90
20+2y=90
minus 20 both sides
2y=70
divide by 2 both sideds
y=35

sub back
x=20+y
x=20+35
x=55

∠ABC=55°
∠ABD=35°
