Step 1

We can find the measure of angle x using the trigonometric ratio Soh or Cah or Toa. This will depend on what we are given and what are required to find. The place where angle x faces is the opposite. We are given;

\begin{gathered} opposite=2 \\ adjacent=3 \\ Required\text{ = angle x} \end{gathered}

So for this we will use Toa, written as;

Tan(x)=(opposite)/(adjacent)

Therefore the answer will be;

\begin{gathered} Tan(x)=(2)/(3) \\ x=tan^(-1)((2)/(3)) \\ x=33.69006753 \\ x\approx33.7^(\circ)\text{ to the nearest tenth} \end{gathered}

Answer;

m\angle x=33.7^(\circ)\text{ to the nearest tenth}
