x^2−3x−70=0
(x - 10)(x + 7) = 0
x - 10 = 0; x =10
x + 7 =0; x = -7

answer
x = -7 and x = 10

x² − 3x − 70=0
x² + 7x - 10x − 70=0
x(x+7) - 10(x+7) = 0
(x+7)(x-10) = 0

x + 7 = 0 or x - 10 = 0
x = -7 x = 10

Answer: x=-7, x=10
