A farmer wants to plant an apple orchard. His design consists of 10 rows of trees, where each row is 24.79 feet long. When he gets to the nursery, the sales clerk tells him that each tree has to be planted five feet apart. Use estimation to calculate the number of trees required for this project.

If each row has 24.79 feet in length and trees can only be planted 5 feet apart, only 4 trees can go in each row.

4 trees per row
10 rows

4*10=40

The farmer can plant 40 trees

Hope this helps, good luck
