f and g have the same amplitude: 2
f and g have the same trajectory: cosine function
But, g has half of the frequency of f

Same amplitude: 2,
but the period is half in the second case. Period of the first one is 2, in the second one is 1, so it will oscillate twice as many times than the first one, but it will go from -2 to 2, both of them
Hope it helps
