A(-1, 2) and B(7, 3)

$x_m= \cfrac{x_a+x_b}{2}= \cfrac{-1+7}{2}= \cfrac{6}{2}=3 \\ \\ y_m= \cfrac{y_a+y_b}{2}= \cfrac{2+3}{2}= \cfrac{5}{2} \\ \\ \text{midpoint is} \ (3, (5)/(2) )$
