(1+\sin x)/(\cos x)=(\cos (-x))/(1+\sin(-x))\\ (1+\sin x)/(\cos x)=(\cos x)/(1-\sin x)\\ \cos^2 x=(1+\sin x)(1-\sin x)\\ \cos^2 x=1-\sin^2 x\\ \sin^2 x+\cos^2 x=1
