I really need this question answered in a few hours please. Why did many farmers face growing debts after the revolutionary war?

The farmers who fought in the Revolutionary War had received little compensation, and by the 1780’s many were struggling to make ends meet. There was no paper money in the circulation and no gold or silver to be accessed by the farmers to settle these debts.
