Well for Jesus' point of view the Holy Land is an important site because Jerusalem was the center for the Jews and he was crucified there. For Moses it is because present day Jerusalem was where Canaan aaa located which was the promise land for the Israelites. This is prevalent because Moses was the leader who led the Israelites towards Canaan after they were freed from Egypt.
